Bible Verse OTD: Honor Thy Mother and Father

Ephesians 6:1-4

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother” (this is 

the first commandment with a promise), “that it may go well with you and that you may live long 

in the land.”

Colossians 3:20 

Children, obey your parents in everything, for this 

pleases the Lord.

Exodus 20:12

“Honor your father and your mother, that your days 

may be long in the land that the Lord your God is 

giving you

Proverbs 20:20

If one curses his father or his mother, his lamp will be 

put out in utter darkness.

We never know the love of a parent till we become parents ourselves.
