Modesty Begins From Within

Modesty on the inside ? What is it? To me modesty on the inside means to have Christian thoughts (or at least try your hardest to) to not judge others, and yes this includes the young ladies in mini skirts and bikinis. You are above no one, we are all sinners and only God is perfect. To be modest on the outside is one thing, but even if you are you can still have a negative attitude towards things. To be modest to me means to humble and feminine in the way the Lord created women to be. To listen to the men in our lives (Fathers, Husbands, brothers ect.) Most women today are feminist's and think they have to be exactly like men, and to be "feminine" means to be weak. That is simply not true, to be feminine is the way God created women to be, he created woman to be equal to men, but to play different roles in there lives. Women are to be men's help meet and men are to be the head of a household. Women are to be strong and humble, soft spoken and kind. Hello everyone! I wanted to ask all of you what your opinions on modesty are, including any guys opinion as well. I have made a post previously that was listing my opinions on what modesty is, how ever now I am curious as to what anyone of my viewers opinions are on this subject. Religious Inspiration

Double chocolate chip cookies

You'll need:
1.1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
2. 1/2 sugar
3. 1/2 brown sugar
4. 1 large egg
5. 1 tsp. vanilla extract
6. 1 1/2 all- purpose flour
7. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
8.1/2 baking powder
9. 1/2 tsp. salt
10. 1/2 cup milk-chocolate chips
11. 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 . cream the butter and sugars in a bowl with an electric mixer on high speed. Lower speed to medium and add egg and vanilla. Stir together flour, coco, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. On low speed, add the dry mixture to the butter mixture. Beat until fully incorporated. Fold in chocolate chips.
2. Form dough balls, to inches apart on sheet.
3. Bake for 12 minutes. let cool for five and eat.

The Perfect Homemaker Recipe: Peanut Butter Brownies

You will need:
1. Brownies made from directions on box.
2. 1/4 butter softened
3. 1/2 cup peanut butter
4. 1/2 cup sugar
5. 1 cup brown sugar
6. 1/4 + 2 tablespoons on milk
7. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
8. 2 cups all purpose flour
9. 1/2 cups m&ms or chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:
1. With electric mixer cream butter and peanut butter for one minute.Add sugars and stir until fluffy. Add milk and vanilla extract  mix for another minute. Add flour and mix until fully combined. Stir in chocolate chips and/ or/ M&M's.
2. Spoon mixture onto cooled brownies, spread until and even layer is formed, cut into squares and eat.

What Is Modesty In Dress?

This a question I'v always had a little bit of trouble with. I'v tried to understand what modesty is and my conclusion is being modest means being a person of God who does not what to make her brothers in Christ stumble, who does not want to draw negative attention to themselves and who respects them selves and there bodies. To me being modest means simply dressing in a way that is pleasing to God and not the world. And not only that but if you are dressing in a way that is immodest, who is it your going to attract? Certainly not a Godly man, your going to attract a worldly man who will not only hurt you but lead you astray from God. Christian men want a lady who is striving to please God, with good morals and self-respect. Here are a couple verses in the Bible on modesty.

Timothy 2:9  


I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or 


gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 


Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in 


you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.


                                                                       1 Corinthians 6: 19

Books on Modesty and Femininity

Hello Everyone! Today i wanted to share with you a few of the books i really enjoyed reading on modesty, being feminine and following the word of God.
1. Dressing with Dignity: By Colleen Hammond

 This book is my absolute favorite. It talking about being respectful, feminine and dressing modestly, i love the style of writing she used, it felt like i was talking to her. The topics really hit home for me and i highly recommend reading this book, especially if your just staring out on your quest for modesty.
2. Beautiful Girlhood: Mabel Hale

  This book is better for a younger reader, it teaches girls from a very young age how to be feminine, meek and modest. I enjoyed reading this book when i was younger, and it taught me many things. It also  comes with a companion guide for the mothers to read if the girl is especially young :)
3.Lies Young Women Believe and the truth that set's them Free: By DeMoss Nancy Leigh

  I read this Book awhile back, so it's a little fuzzy (i'm looking forward to reading it again) However i do remember really loving reading it, and learning many things from it. The book mainly talks about what it says on the title, the silly things that some young girl believe to be the truth and showing them God's way of doing things. 4. The Standard of Modesty: By Sarah Queen  

I loved this book when I was younger I'm sure I'v read it at least four times, it's an excellent workbook, and

teaches young girls many things about being modest and feminine

 Yes there It is! The Holy Bible is the ABSOLUTE best book to read when looking for answers on modesty and femininity.

Meet Christian Modesty

Hello everyone! I am incredibly excited to begin blogging on the things I love most, God, the Bible, modesty and much more. Let me introduce myself to start of with, my name is Taylor Willett, I am 15 years old, I am a strong believer in Jesus Christ, and an energetic follower of the Bible. I wanted to start this blog to mainly talk about dressing modestly, I also want to talk about different verses in the Bible and many other fun things.
