A very nice insight.However, verse 15 of 1 corinthians:11 states that "her hair has been given to her for a covering", and so to be 'uncovered' is to be shorn or shaven. God bless you
Just found your blog and this post interested me very much. I wear the head covering as well and agree with all you have said! I am just curious though, what your answer would be to people that believe that the hair is the covering given to women. I know people very close to me that believe this and it is nice to hear other answers from like-minded girls! @Gracea_Eagle God bless you too, however in the Bible verses I believe that when it says head covering is her hair it is referring to in nature not in prayer. In prayer the scripture call for a head covering of cloth, otherwise the verse "but every wife who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, since it is the same as if her head were shaven. ..." wouldn't make any sense. Why would it say it is the "same" as being shaven if it were talking about literally being shaven. God bless sister.
@Hannah please read my answer to the comment above as that would be my answer to people who say the head covering is hair. God bless dear sister it is always wonderful to meet other women who wear head coverings.
