Weight loss Journey Week 1

Hello dear sisters! So I have decided to put up my weight loss journey diaries here on Christian Modesty, I started trying to loss weight at the beginning of this week. I have tried losing weight before but have always managed to put  it back on once I lost it. I'm hoping putting this struggle of mine up on my blog will help hold me more accountable to trying to loss weight. So here it goes.
I currently weight......180 pounds(YIPES!) which is way over what I should weigh for my height.
I want to get to to 140-145 (as my ultimate goal) however, because I am just starting off, I am looking at the smaller picture and shooting for 20 pounds. For this start up week I have tried eating considerably less. at lunch and dinner (I don't know why but I have never been a breakfast girl and very rarely eat it anyway) I have always worked out but am now adding two walks a day to my routine, both a little while after meal times.
So this is what I look like now:

I am going to be taking pictures through the weeks until I reach my goal.

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

God bless all!

I, too, am aroung 180, Bout 50-60 more than I should weigh, but at my age, would settle gladly for 140-150. I am going to do this with you! I need encouragement! My weakness right now is raw milk...specifically the milk fat! :-( I am having very few carbs, using coconut sugar in my coffee, eating whole foods, mostly veggies...my only vice must be the milk fat. Today for lunch, had chopped (food processor) fresh veggies with some homemade kefir in it. And coffee. Need to drink more water, too!

So many of us struggle with that; I am as well. You give me inspiration to be consistent with workouts. Thank you!

carb free tuna casserole for dinner last night, milk...but most fat skimmed off first, whole wheat pancake pita with greens and cheddar for lunch today...just 1/2 pancake, and coffee. Bad bread! We can do this!

My pancake pitas are 1/2 pancake made from organice whole wheat flour, olive oil water, egg, baking powder and seasonings.

I don't do tuna often, but had some canned, so made it with boiled eggs, green peas, sour cream, cheese and seasonings. Turned out good! Prefer all veggies, but try to please the fam, too...fresh veggies whizzed up in food processor just doesn't cut it for them. :(

@Caro sounds good, I just had a salad and a piece of seasoned chicken for dinner, I never eat breakfast and had fruit salad for lunch. I like fruit more than veggies. God bless!
